Who's behind all that and why?
Name: Manuela, Initiator & Organizer
Nationality: German
Place of residence: Munich, Germany
Languages: German (mother tongue), English, Spanish, French & Italian.
My Motivation:
Refreshing and exercising all four foreign languages in a regular manner. Building up a multi-cultural, international social network.
My Inspiration:
The multi-cultural (languages')diversity during the soccer world championship in Munich in summer 2006 made me initiate this five-languages-project.
The Plan:
To find like-minded native speakers in each of the five languages, who are also interested in exercising one or more foreign languages in a regular manner.
My Contribution:
The Organisation of the meet-ups and my mother tongue.
Daft Idea or Promising Concept?
This depends for the most part on the people participating. This five-languages-project can in principle work only , if each member stands behind this particular philosophy and participates actively.
Why all that fuss in respect to registrations, invitations and responses?
Because it's part of the philosophy, not to make the "Stammtische" an impersonal, superficial or anonymous "I'll come or not"-event.
See you soon! Manuela
Dear Members,
I'm awfully sorry, but at present I'm not able to organise our round tables for personal reasons.
Cheers, Manuela
